I didn't really make the decision based on finances; yes, I was still bringing home money after childcare (not a ton, but some), but me working didn't make sense for our family plans. I knew I would be transitioning careers soon, and we also made the decision that we wanted to relocate before that happened, so it didn't make a lot of sense for me to keep working while all of that was going on. But we always knew me being at home would be temporary (we can live off of DH's salary but I need to work in order to send the kids to private school) and now that I'm nearing the end of my SAH journey, I'm happy with where we're at. I work with a mission organization when I do. My DH makes enough for us for me to not work, and paying for daycare so that I can work doesn't make sense for us. Even now, paying for after school care for DS doesn't make sense, unless I can get a great full time job...which I really can't. And I get free family health insurance through my work. The only way it will be a financially smart option is if DH got a new job that paid significantly more than me and gets free family health insurance.</p> <p>Will you SAHM with 2?
