Nope, I haven't had to do that yet! LO usually wakes right around 5:15-5:30 . . . I hand her off to Hubs at 6, and I try to leave with her by 7. I really wish she would sleep until 6 or 6:30, but only because I know she needs the sleep . . . sometimes she needs a little catnap at daycare before her afternoon nap (her classroom only has 1 nap). I am so so glad to spend time with her, but it would be better for her if she slept a little longer.

depends on the day. if i have a really early AM, then I do. if not, i just go into work late, thankfully due to a flex schedule, my in-times can vary.

ds usually wakes up at 745/8 for the day. i usually get to work by 9.

Not usually. She has pretty much trained herself. She goes to bed by 6 and is usually up to nurse by 5:30. She likes to nurse A LOT in the morning still, so I build the time into my schedule for that.

DH doesn't start work until noon, so luckily we get to let E sleep in as long as he wants. Otherwise I'd have to get him up at 5:30. It makes for nice weekends though because he generally sleeps in until 8:30 or 9:00.

@DillonLion: That sucks that you'll have to work extra and get up earlier  Can your husband take her to daycare?

Sometimes i do! She's been sleeping in until 6:30 lately, and I let her sleep no later than 6:40. Every once in awhile, she wants to sleep in.

She used to get up at 5:00/5:30 pretty regularly. Ever since sleep training, her wake up got stretched out. Hallelulah.

@edelweiss: I am right there with you. LO wakes up WAY to early like 5:15 or 5:30. It's rough! I'm worried about the time change this weekend. That said I do get a few hours with her in the morning.

We have a babysitter, so I don't have to wake up her.

Not usually. But this morning my husband did. She woke up at 6:15 and I brought her into to bed to nurse her and she promptly fell right back to sleep. She was still sleeping an hour and a half later so he had to wake her up to get dressed and go to school. I think day light saving time will probably help her be up a little earlier. It's hard to wake up when it's still pitch black out!

never. he is always up before us. i talked to a sleep consultant about it, and she suspects it's because he is nap deprived (he doesn't sleep much at daycare). it is the current bane of my existence.

@DillonLion: oh and sorry, I didn't mean to ignore the fact that you're working an extra hour. I remember you mentioning that and I'm sorry it's finally happening. :(

We get M up at 6am if she's not up before then. She goes to bed at 6:30 just so we can make sure she gets enough sleep at night. It suuucks and it means very little time with her at night. i think we could probably push it back to 7 or even 7:30 but I'M not ready for that yet.
