It has been "improved" with cubicles so that two of us can pump at the same time (it's kind of fun having a pumping buddy!) and a mini fridge. There isn't a sink, but we make due with hand sanitizer and we have a sink in our office if we need to wash parts. It's ok. It's kind of a pain, because I have windows with no shades, so I had to make my own with some paper that I have to put up and take down every time I pump, as my classroom looks out on a shared area where there are ALWAYS kid. My classroom also has to always be available in case a kid needs to come in and get their stuff because they need to go home from recess or whatnot. I've hidden behind my desk many a time while my teaching partner let in a kid to get their stuff. There's a glass door with no lock, so I lined it with construction paper and sign that says I'm in there at certain times. I put up another temporary sign if I'm using it at a non-standard time. Have only been walked in on once in 9 months, and the other person stayed in the room and kept looking for whatever she needed.....no apology....no nothing. We don't have a sink in our office suite, but the bathroom is just across the hall in case I need the sink, so while not 100% ideal, I think it will work fine. The only thing is, we are a very small office of 3 people at full strength (me, my boss, and our support person) and we're just about to hire someone for the support job, which has been vacant for months. It will almost certainly be a guy, and I'm *slightly* nervous about whether it will be a weird dynamic. The mother's room is a 5 min walk and there isn't a sign up sheet. I don't want to spend 10 mins (round trip) walking and someone might be in the room. Plus in the storage room, I can set up my pump and leave it for the day. Luckily no one really goes in the closet to get anything.
