4:30 - leave work
4:50 - arrive at LO's daycare
5:10 - arrive home
5:20 - if she's tired i try to get her to nap so I can make dinner, otherwise i make her a bottle.
5:30-6 pm, DH arrives home and we eat. If she is eating her bottle we eat separately and/or have to wait until she is done to make something and eat.

6:30 or 7, we watch netflix while dealing with fussy LO.
9, all three of us go to bed.

LO is 11 weeks, so she usually wakes up to eat at about 2 and then wakes randomly again at ~4:30, usually for the day.

I wish I got to leave work earlier than I do! Depending on which day of the week, I either leave work at 5 or 6 (and 9p 1 day per week). If it's a 6p day, DH picks him up from daycare and hangs with him until I get home around 6:15.

LO is currently 13.5 months old.

6:15 Dinner for LO (usually leftover lunch or a variation on what lunch would be)
6:15 DH walks and feeds dog
6:30 Play or bath or books
6:45-7 Nurse
7-7:30ish Bed for LO
7-7:30ish Prep daycare milk/food
7:30 Start dinner or heat up dinner for ourselves
8+ Eat dinner and relax
9:30-10 Bed and sleeping shortly after

on my "early" get out at 5p day:

5p Leave work
5:15 Pick up LO from daycare
5:20-5 Either home with LO and play/walk dog OR go straight to park and play there until 6-6:15
6:15 Home and LO eats
then schedule is same for the rest of the evening. I almost always do a bath on the early night.

And one day a week, I work 12-9p. Not awesome. DH does the entire evening routine by himself, and when I get home I prepare daycare things for the next day. Bedtime is around 11p those days.

I leave work around 4:30, then get home around 5. Sometimes my husband is already home, and sometimes he works late. If he's home, he'll usually play with LO while I get dinner ready. Then we eat, I take LO outside to burn some energy and then by 6:30 he's in the bath. Once he's down for the night around 7, I'll clean up, while my husband gets scheduling done for work the next day. We're usually in bed by 8:30, then we watch TV and relax to be asleep by 9:30 or so.

DS is 10 months today! Here is our evening routine:

4 PM: I leave for work! 4 pm on the dot too!

4:45: arrive at home. DH is already home and has picked up DS from daycare. They are usually just hanging out together. I put away my milk & get pump parts & bottles ready to wash. Then usually nurse DS if he is cranky and hungry.

5: we start dinner. DH has been cooking a lot lately. So I hang out with DS.

5:30: dinner as a family at the table. we do clean up after we eat.

Then we just play with the baby or sometimes go out of the house for an errand. I will usually take my shower around 6:30.

7 pm: bath time & night time routine.

8 pm: DS is usually asleep by 8.

D is 7 months. I leave work at 4:50, catch the 5:07 train home, and pick up D at daycare at 5:40. We get home around 5:50, empty the wet bag, put away the milk I pumped, and then he nurses. Hubs gets home around 6:15, usually while I'm nursing, and he cleans the bottles from daycare. After he eats, he plays with Hubs while I get dinner ready. We eat around 7. Hubs takes him up for bath around 7:30 while I clean up dinner, then after bath I go up, give him a massage, sing lullaby, read a book, then nurse to sleep. He's usually asleep by 8:15. Then I go downstairs and get bottles and the daycare bag ready for the next day, then relax and watch some tv with Hubs till we go to bed at 10.

Xander is 5 months.

I leave work at 4:30 and get to Xander's daycare around 5:00 to pick him up. We're usually home by 5:15. Some nights, if he didn't nap well at daycare, I'll put him down for a nap when we get home (or he'll fall asleep in the car and continue sleeping once we're home). Other nights we'll play. Hubs is usually home by 5:30. I nurse Xander at 6:00 and then do bedtime routine and he's usually in bed by 7:30. Then Hubs and I will make dinner for ourselves and eat while watching a show. Then it's time to get ready for bed ourselves and Hubs plays video games (or washes bottles if that hasn't happened yet) while I nurse Xander at 9:00 and then in bed by 10:00.

Once we start solids though, I'm hoping to nurse Xander at 5:30 and have dinner with him at 6:30.

What's your evening like from the moment you leave work? How old is your LO?

I leave work about 4:10, take the train and DH picks me up with LO. We get home around 5:00pm. Some nights DH has to go back to work till 9pm.

On the nights we're all home together we play together for a bit and I feed LO a snack. DH takes doggie out. Then we start dinner prep. I like to try to feed LO around 6:00pm. Bath time is usually around 7:00pm. Usually we play outside after dinner or go on a family walk. After bath time LO plays a bit before bedtime which is usually 7:40 or 8:00pm depending on how long her nap was.

If DH is working I usually heat up leftovers for LO. While she's eating I'll start on dinner prep for DH & I. After she goes down I'll start / finish making dinner for him and I. He gets home by 9 and we eat, clean up and try to relax a bit before going to bed around 10:30/11:00pm.

If he's not working late we relax after LO goes to bed. Lately it's prepping for our garage sale!

LO is 15.5 months.

WOHP: how does your evening routine look like?
