@My Only Sunshine: I am going to look into hiring a lawn guy to save DH about 3 hours on the weekend! And I gladly pay the $4.99 delivery charge for groceries from our local grocer! They've been running so many promos and coupons I've been either getting delivery free or free food every week!

Meal plan and prep on Sunday for dinners to save time in the evenings. Do 1 chore a night to avoid cleaning all weekend!

We use Amazon Prime for most of our paper products, household goods, and toiletries. Honestly, I haven't even compared the prices to Costco because the convenience factor is so high. Although I do think the Amazon costs are pretty comparable.

To make dinner time easier, we got a chest freezer when I went back to work. If we have a slow weekend, I'll fill up the freezer for crazier times. I make double batches of a few kinds of soup, make a huge batch of spaghetti sauce with meat and veggies (2 lbs of ground beef, some shredded carrot, chopped onions, chopped green pepper, mushrooms, and 2 giant jars of marinara). We also always keep turkey burgers, tortellini, and some frozen pizzas in there for backups.

Not sure if this counts as a "tip" but we hired a cleaning lady too!

Following! My DH started a job last week so we are also getting back into having 2 WOHPs. I said I'd prepare all of LOs things for daycare the night before but haven't mastered that.
Definitely grocery shopping after work on Friday and cooking/meal prep over the weekend for the week helps.

I try to do nothing during the week beyond personal care and meals. That means I will not even think about doing laundry, going to the grocery store, etc. That stuff has to get done on the weekend. I know a lot of people are very successful doing cleaning and chores after the kids go to bed, but I can not do it, I am just too wiped out during the week.

Amazon is my best friend, I haven't set foot in a proper store in forever, lol.

I make sure we have enough clothes for the week on Sunday, I also pack the car at night (except for food). I like to begin the work week with no laundry, an empty dishwasher, full fridge and the house in good order, makes the week less crazy.

Yep. Those things. We meal plan. Every week. Routine is helpful - I make a meal plan and a grocery list every Thursday, grocery shop on the weekend (Friday if I can work it out), lay out clothes for LO for the week and make lunches for the week on Sunday. That's about all we do. Whatever it takes to keep organized. I always make sure there's a quick and healthy snack ready after work. Sometimes if LO has a snack, she won't eat dinner, so I strive for something better than goldfish.

Good luck!

We'll be back to two WOHP household in a week. It's been a year since I worked out of the home full time and the first time with two kids.

Share your best time saving tips as a household with two WOHP!

Whether it be a morning time saver or evening time saver.

******
I make big batches of portable breakfast items on the weekends such as pancakes, waffles and mini quiche. Lunches are always packed the night before.

I need to get into the habit of setting out their clothes before the girls go to bed.
