The guy sounds like he was a little nuts to begin with, but that's so nice that people gathered around her. </p> <p>I have nursed in public a ton, with and without a cover, and honestly never felt uncomfortable. I always try to find a spot where no one has to look at me, like in a restaurant I make sure I'm facing a wall or in a booth, not facing another diner, and I've never had an issue.
