When I had my first one I had spotting off and on (mostly on) for about 7 weeks -- then no bleeding at all. </p> <p>The heavy bleeding is definitely worth following up on though. But I got really nauseous for weeks after I got mine. The flow varies from barely there to every few days being like.... Murder scene heavy. Never any clots or anything but it's starting to freak me out. After having my baby in July, we decided an IUD was the best fit BC wise. I had it put in 8weeks pp on Sept 3. It had only been two weeks at that point that I stopped bleeding, and I still had a couple random spotting days until about a week before putting it in. The first time we had sex post IUD, I started bleeding again. Haven't stopped. It's been three weeks. </p> <p>Normal, or should I be concerned? When does it stop if it is normal? </p>
