I think somewhere in the app, there's an explanation for why they use due dates. You can google wonder weeks chart for more info. </p> <p>Every time I have been at my wits end with LO I've consulted the Wonder weeks chart and we've been struggling with the milestones it talks about. LO is 17 months and I pulled out the book last week. I showed DH and he emphatically agreed that LO met the description completely. They last a week-ish, although some longer, some maybe shorter, and each baby will be different at each "leap". I think the app is a good way to go if you want to learn more. I think it was $1.99 (? I don't remember for sure) and it gives you all the info you need and keeps track of your LO's age and if they are in a wonder week or not!
