So my sister is asking me about an organic natural wool waterproof mattress pad that she is thinking of getting me. I'm not sure what company, but she says it's in CA. Are there any risks associated with wool mattress pads, compared to the regular ones at BRU? Allergy or SIDS risks? I'm not sure how thick it is.

Also, I live in central TX, so it's warm 80% of the year. Would a wool pad be too hot?

Thanks!
