At least a week for sure. There was someone who was supposed to be filling in for me while I was gone, but when I got back to the office it seemed like everything was in a mess and it didn't look like anyone had covered anything while I was out. Not really the smooth transition I was hoping for. I was an emotional mess and couldn't find anything in my normally organized office. Yuck.

How long did it take you to get back in the swing of things? I felt like a new employee on the first few days. :-)
