<description>&#60;p&#62;@Leialou:  My husband is pretty hardcore into lifting, and we have all KINDS of protein products in our house. Super-duper hardcore lifters aim for 2 grams of protein for each lb that they weigh; my husband and his lifter friends aim for about 1.5 grams per lb (so my 200 lb husband tries to get 300 grams per day). If you're serious about muscle gain and lifting, protein consumption is a big deal. It also helps muscle recovery to have protein right after a workout (like, drink some muscle milk right after you lift).&#60;br /&#62;
Good for you for working so hard, and that's awesome that you're seeing results and feel good about yourself!

&#60;p&#62;PS i've been looking for good, tasty chicken recipes. I recently brined a lb of chicken (8 cups of water, then 1/4 cup kosher salt) and applied a dry rub, then grilled it all up. HOLY AMAZING. So good, no added fat or sugar or carbs....tasty.

<description>&#60;p&#62;@jennyg, the way I was told, is you eat very low fat and low carb on day 1, then medium carb/fat, then higher carb/fat, then back to day 1. I'll wall you the meal plan I have. I wasn't even super strict with it and lost 2.5 lb in one week just by manipulating what I was eating and when (it's basically the same foods I had been previously eating but I had plateaued). It's a lot of chicken, though, I warn you :)

I am currently doing barre videos daily for 10 to 20 minutes a day (I don't get a lot of uninterrupted time) &#38;amp; a couch to 5k program 2 days a week (I repeat each week twice since I don't put in the recommended 3 days a week). Did my barre &#38;amp; completed my second week of week 3 today! :)
