I tried to get everyone to go in together on something. They're more of a quantity over quality group. I'd like to avoid gift cards since everyone at work thinks I am weird because I'm married and 30 and don't have babies. (They don't know about my m/c's). I feel like I'll look the grumpy anti-baby girl who just gives a gift card to Walmart (the only store in the area). Yes I realize this is irrational.

I agree on gift cards! At our work, each person would contribute X amount to one large gift card.

What about a gift card? I used to hate giving gift cards because I felt they were really impersonal, but now that I am pregnant I would LOVE gift cards to use on whatever I need at the time! Target or Babies R Us are always safe bets.

Our office is throwing a shower for a coworker and his wife next week. They're having a little girl. I'm not that close with my coworker, and I've never met his wife. Any gift ideas? I haven't found any registry info on the usual sites. I'm looking to spend about $30.
