I worked up until I gave birth def not by choice. I wanted to spend as much time with LO, so I was trying to not go through my vaca unless I had to.

I planned to work up to my due date. and I did just that and kept working 4 days past my due date. I even worked the morning of the day I got induced, although I didnt know I was going to be induced at the time. It was hard towards the end but I'm glad I did it because it kept me active and it meant I could enjoy more time off with my baby afterwards

My plan right now is to work up until my due date, whether that be from home or actually in the office. I"m actually closer to the hospital and will have easier access to get there from the office so it might make sense to continue to come to the office.

I would really like to work up till I deliver, because then I get more time off on the back end after baby comes. But my commute to work is either a 30-minute train ride or an hour-long drive. I'm not entirely sure I want to sit on a train for 30 minutes, especially if I'm one of those women who sort of slowly, constantly "leaks" once her water breaks! So I may end up taking a few days off before my due date, and hoping baby arrives on or close to his/her due date so I"m not eating up too much of my maternity leave!

With both kids, I planned on working until my due date, and with both kids I went into labor at work! With DD, I left work at about 12:30 for the hospital, and had her at 8:30 that night; with DS, I left work at about 2 for the hospital, and had him at 9 that night.

I had a desk job and a replacement person to train, so the last few weeks of pregnancy weren't too bad for me. Plus, I figured I'd be miserable and uncomfortable at home just like I would be at work, but if I stayed in the office, at least I'd be making some money while miserably pregnant, lol!

Yup, I worked up to very last Fri, and had LO on Mon! It sucked to be at work when I was so huge and uncomfortably pregnant, but worth it in the end to maximize my time off with LO.

I plan on stopping working at 39 weeks if I haven't had any complications or gone into labor by then. And then I'm hopefully still taking the 12 weeks off after that...for a total of 13 weeks. My boss is cool with it.

I've been planning to work up until I pop, but so far talks with my boss about my leave have been very flexible. I asked for 12 weeks and she essentially said, take what you need, we'll talk about if you want to come back part time for a few weeks or just whatever you need. So I'm kinda hoping there is more flexibility at the end, but I'm not planning anything either way. My biggest fear is my water breaking at work so... I'm gonna get really squirrely at the end.

I'm 35 weeks and so far planning to work until the day after my due date just to finish out the week. I want to work as long as possible because I want to take extended maternity leave until after the holidays (about 15-16 weeks). I'm really hoping that I can make it that long!

At this point I'm planning to work at both of my jobs until my due date. One is a work from home desk job, so no problems there. The other is very close to home and involves more moving around, which I actually like!

At six months I feel great and have done a good job of managing body changes. I hardly feel slowed down, which bodes well for the end of the pregnancy. If I felt really cumbersome and tired, I could totally see myself stopping early!

It really depends on the kind of job you have. I sit at a desk all day, so I worked past my due date. Worked Friday all day and then went into labor on Friday night. I didn't want to waste any of my leave before the baby came. I might not have always been super productive, but I was there working.

I plan on working up until the end, otherwise it cuts into my FMLA leave, and I want to spend as much time with the baby after she is born so I will suffer through being uncomfortable and distracted (which have already hit at 32 weeks!)

I am in medical device sales, so I spend my day driving and calling on doctors. It's a lot of walking and in/out of the car. I am planning on working normally until 37 weeks or so, and then I am going to work from home - calling accounts on the phone and doing emails instead of in-person discussions.

With DS I worked up till I went into labor. I was induced 2 days before my due date. I was induced on a Monday so I worked the full week before that Monday. I had a desk job and it wasn't to uncomfortable. Now I am a SAHM and also babysit a little girl. I'm not sure what my plan is this time around. I'm almost 31 weeks and still feeling fine just uncomfortable/exhausted at times. My daycare girl goes on vacation the whole week before my due date so I am hoping I go into labor sometime during then otherwise I am planning to keep watching her until my due date but I guess we will see how I am feeling. She has a back up babysitter that will take over for my maternity leave but I'm super attached to her and will be sad when she doesn't come everyday. I've been watching her since she was 6 weeks old and now she's 2 so it's going to be hard not seeing her everyday.

I worked some the last three days from home, mainly taking conference calls from bed and letting people know when I was officially going to be out. This time I plan to do the same (well hopefully not the bed rest part).

I was planning on working at the office through 39 weeks, and then working from home as needed till baby came, but then baby came at 38.5 weeks. My water broke 4 hours after I got home from the office.
I did start having more of a flexible schedule around 36 weeks- working from home, working shorter days, etc. as needed depending on how I was feeling.
