Target, Old Navy, NY & Co, have great sales and prices for transition pieces. Layers works great when you are hiding...cardigans, flowy skirts, scarfs, ect.

I bought stuff from old navy during he transitional time before my old clothes fit right. It's cheap and relatively stylish. I want to save my money for when I'm done nursing/pumping and have my body to myself again.

I sucked it up and bought new stuff. I really like ponte knit skirts, they are super forgiving if you still have weight to lose.

I did regular pants, I went to Loehmanns and got three pair, in black, brown and gray. I am happy to say I didn't spend more than $30 and they washed and wore really well.

As for tops, I like prints, they're forgiving with a bit of extra weight and look super sharp when topped off with a solid cardigan or blazer. Now is the time to buy, summer stuff is on clearance and if you stick to darker solids, you can wear them all the way into fall.

I really love the jersey pencil skirts at Old Navy - they come in basic colors and are thick enough not to show anything unflattering but are very stretchy and comfy. I have four of them and wear them a lot. If you wait and watch, there is always some kind of 20-30% off sale going on, too.

I have a pair of target trousers made of a very comfortable material that is also a midrise so it covers the love handles and tummy pooch. They are really cute

I also shopped loft/AT clearance racks for blouses and tops, as well as nordstrom rack.

Banana Republic outlet sometimes has some great deals on work pants too.

I go back to work at the end of September and none of my work wardrobe fits! I have about 20-25 pounds to go before it fits again. I'm losing it at a moderately steady pace, so I don't want to spend much on new work clothes but I also HAVE to get something in the meantime. Any store recs? Attire is business casual or loose business professional.
