DH is a SAHD. I'm glad one of us can be home with DD. I don't work the same hours every day but generally work the same schedule every week. I like that I can provide for our family, but it is very stressful that we are dependent on just my income to pay our bills. I enjoy what I do, but since I work with kids, it just reminds me of how much I miss my daughter. So it's hard. It provides some "me" time. My ideal schedule is working around 85%, where I get one day off to take care of things for the family like grocery shopping. I am quickly approaching a time where I need to make some decisions though. The thought of not being able to pick DD up from school and sending her to after school care AFTER a full day of school is sad to me.
