There is one specialty camp that begins summer sign up in the fall and fill up quickly, but you are only required to put a deposit down, so I pick a few weeks that look good and put deposits down. Those deposits get applied to the final balance once we choose our final dates, which are due two weeks before the camp starts. E started at a real school at the end of Sept (the preschool year), and its already the "half term" holiday (break). Then she goes back for a few weeks and then it's the two week Christmas holiday! I would like to do the Seattle Science Center again or try the Oregon Zoo Program. There's a local preschool that does summer programs for kids through 3rd or 4th grade. We'll probably do that for a while and then summer camps. I guess I've been in denial but summer break is 2.5 months long! Yikes! </p> <p>I am a designer/illustrator, and I work from home. However my schedule is packed and at the same time, it is very unpredictable - I can be all booked up, or I can be free if no one calls me. I wouldn't mind if DS stays with me here and there, but I think both of us will go crazy if we stay at home together for 2 months. </p> <p>Some summer camps require you to start signing up now. How do I know what my schedule and traveling schedule is going to be like in Summer? </p> <p>What are your plans for the summer break? </p>
