I worked out. I think that it is good for you. Relieves the stress and gets your mind off the dreaded TWW.

My doctor is a big believer in not changing anything about your lifestyle until you see a BFP. It just makes the whole process so much more frustrating if you get a BFN and feel like you were giving up things you enjoyed for no reason. A ridiculously high percentage of pregnancies in the US are unplanned.... so obviously non of those people change their ways before they know for sure that they are pregnant and their babies are just fine.

There's no need to not work out during the 2WW. In fact, there is data to show that working out intensely is actually more beneficial.

But yes, I continued to work out at a high intensity all throughout TTC and I'm continuing to do Crossfit during my pregnancy.

I am working out, I think it's important to keep your body active and healthy! Plus, it de-stresses me from all the pressures of TTC.

Definitely keep working out!

I did intense workouts 5 days a week before getting pregnant and continued the exact same regimen through the first trimester.

I started working out during cycle six and continued to work out during the TWW! That was the cycle I got my BFP, so I definitely think you can work out during it!

I have read that when you are pregnant, you shouldn't let your heartrate rise above 140 though when working out, so maybe you could stick to that during the TWW just to be on the safe side?

I would definitely continue working out during that time. I even worked out through my whole pregnancy. If it's something you've been doing already, don't stop!

Absolutely yes. After TTC for 6 months (so far), it would have had a severely negative impact on my health had I not been working out this whole time, or even for two weeks out of every month of that time. Exercise is so good for you, I wouldn't worry about it while TTC (it'll probably help). Once you get your bfp you can check in with your doc about restrictions.

Yes, I worked out. If you don't exercise during the TWW, then for half of the month, every month, you aren't exercising. It is generally considered totally safe to continue your regular exercise regime, unless your doctor says otherwise. I did hot yoga until my positive HPT. Hot yoga is specifically a no-no during pregnancy, but my doctor was fine with me doing it until I was confirmed pregnant. I would have hated to have to give up my practice for half of the month! That would have been annoying.

I've been working out the entire time I've been TTC, including the tww. I never asked my doctor about it though. I probably should have.

Did you work out during TTC?

I read somewhere that you shouldn't workout during the 2WW, is there any truth to this?
