@travellingbee: I do workout videos on YouTube on my tv right after the kids are in bed. I like popsugar fitness channel and also fitness blender. Sometimes I am only able to get in 10 min but it was better than nothing. Last week I did a 10 min arm workout in my hotel room. Good luck !

I try and do 25 press ups every day and whenever I find myself with a spare thirty seconds. It's not much but it's something and I want to add in squats or burpies!

I know it's hard, and not for everyone - but I swear waking up a little earlier and getting it done in the am is the only thing that works for me. It usually takes about 2 months of dread and loathing, before it just becomes habit, and I'm not cursing my alarm when it goes off..

@2PeasinaPod: I wish we had room in our house for a treadmill. That would be the easiest for me. I could watch TV and walk. I can't run because I have a back injury.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations for videos. I am going to look through them tonight and see what I think!

I run! It's the easiest workout that doesn't need a ton. We got a treadmill for Christmas for ourselves last year, and while that helps, I prefer to run outside. The only thing that really stops me is rain/wind/snow. I can usually go after dinner or after we put the boys to bed. I wear lights on my shoes and wear bright colors. I also stay on busy roads. But it's easy to get out and back in the time I want without having to wait for equipment.

I struggle with this too. I had a post about it last week! I have similar time constraints...so here is what I am trying:

1) 2 workout videos in the AM during the work week
2) 1 Jog mid week (morning or evening - just need to get so gear to light my self up! And 1 weekend Jog!
3) Spin class once a week!

I have Jillian Michaels DVDs and love them all. I also have 21 Day Fix videos and like them a lot!

@hitchhiker: Thanks for this link...looks interesting!

DH and I alternate mornings so that we both have time to work out. On my mornings, I get up at 6 and do a 45 min workout in the living room with a DVD or streaming. On DH's mornings, he gets up at 5:30 and heads out to the gym. The person not working out is in charge of LO during that time. We each get in 3 workouts per week this way (and one day we both take off).

In the past, I have also tried to work out in the evenings after LO goes to bed. I would do 20-30 min 3-5 times per week. That worked too, but I stopped after I got pregnant back in March because usually I'm way too tired in the evenings these days.

I also walk to work so I get 3 miles of walking in each weekday (I know that is not really an option for most people though).

I am super into MommaStrong.com. It's $2/month and worth more than that. Workouts are about 18 minutes including stretching (15 if you don't) and are seriously making a difference in my strength and life outlook. I often do it right after bedtime. This video gives a little intro to her method: https://youtu.be/jfMh-bENNGE

I have found ways to get more walking in. For example, I take 12 flights of stairs to the lactation room three times a day, Take a route to work that involves more walking, and getting LO outside as much as possible. I also walk the dog during marathon conference calls.

I find I never do videos. The kid or dog gets in the way.

I saw you can't take breaks at work, but for me that's the only time I get it done is on my lunch break. I do fitness blender workouts. They're free and you can pick from hundreds based on time, what you want to work out, difficulty level. I spend the second half of my day sweaty but it's worth it.

I do Jillian Michael's 30 day shred and 6 week 6 pack. Sure, it can get repetitive, but for me it works! I love that its 30 minutes and the repetitiveness means I can measure my improvement easily. The one bummer is I can't have LO in the room with me while do them because they take space and have rapid movements and he gets in the way. I've started doing prenatal Barre dvds which I don't find as engaging, but I can do them with LO around because its very small movements and from what I understand non-prenatal versions are similar.

I've done a combo of Bikini Body Mommy and Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. Once those get boring/I get fit, I flip to P90x3 and I will never do anything else, best results, hardest work, addicting.....like 32w preggo now and haven't done it since April and can't wait to get back at it after easing my way back! In the basement, no equipment (can if you want to) and a half hour. I WOHM and did these before work or later in evenings. My second has always been an early riser and my kids are slow eaters, so I have made brekkie for them, and set them up at a picnic table beside me downstairs and they eat while I workout....win!

Check out toneitup.com. They send out a weekly workout schedule. With working and two littles, I can't possibly do everything they list, but I do love their videos and daily moves.

I did the Bikini Body Mommy online videos right after LO went to bed (his bedtime is 7:30, so I was usually able to sit down and relax for a couple minutes and be in the basement exercising by 8.) They're not very long, but they're high intensity and I think they worked pretty well (and they're free, as long as you don't buy all the supplemental nutrition programs, etc.)

How to fit it all in? I can't go before work or during the day because of the daycare schedule and the fact that I'm a teacher and don't have any significant breaks in my day. After work I have to pick up the boys right away because their day ends at 4:30 (I can't leave work until 3:45.) Once I get home, it's make dinner, eat, bath, bedtime at 8pm. Then clean up the kitchen/house and fall into bed. Sigh. I could probably find 1/2 hour after dinner, when DH gets home, or right after the kids go to bed to do a workout video or something. But I'm not sure where to start looking for one...

Any suggestions? How do you fit it in? Any good work out videos that you find really work?
