This is a great thread. I'm really interested in figuring out how to make time for exercise with a full-time job and baby.

Holy cow you ladies are some early risers!

What time do you wake up? 6:50
What time are you out the door? 7:55
What time do you drop your LO off at daycare? DH drops her off at 8:20 on his way to work
What time do you pick your LO up? 5p
What time do you get home? 5:02 :)

Do you find time to exercise? How do you add that into the mix? I'm working on this now, but I am trying to fit it in most days during Katie's afternoon nap. She sleeps from 5:45-6:30 for her last nap. Thats normally when I cook dinner and do chores. I'm not sure how working out is going to fit. The other option is working out after she goes to bed at 8-8:30

@mediagirl: I didn't see this until after I made a thread asking when working moms workout. It's tough to schedule it!!

What time do you wake up? Whenever DD wakes me up (anywhere between 4:30 and 6)
What time are you out the door? We always try to be out the door by 7:30, but end up out the door by 8
What time do you drop your LO off at daycare? Between 8:15 and 8:30
What time do you pick your LO up? 5:30
What time do you get home? Depends on how much I talk to the ladies at daycare, but usually home by 6

Do you find time to exercise? How do you add that into the mix? If I'm up at 4:30, that gives me enough time to pump and then workout for an hour (usually running). When I do my bootcamp classes (at 5:30am), I'm up at 4:15 so I can pump before driving over there and DH will take care of DD if she wakes up after I leave.

What time do you wake up? 5:20 or 5:45 (depending on if it's a hair washing day or not)
What time are you out the door? 6:55 (DH and I carpool and he drops me off at the train)
What time do you drop your LO off at daycare? DH drops him off around 7:45
What time do you pick your LO up? 5:45
What time do you get home? 7:00 (DH picks me up at the train)

Do you find time to exercise? How do you add that into the mix? No- there's absolutely no way with our current schedule that I can fit it in. I'm frustrated that this is the case but I honestly just can't prioritize it right now. That might sound like BS because everyone thinks you make time for what you want to make time for but it's my reality. Any spare minute of my day that I'm not eating or sleeping I'm trying to spend with my son. I work downtown and hope that once I get a job in the burbs and don't have a 3 hour commute every day I'll be able to find time.

What time do you wake up? 5:15am
What time are you out the door? 6:45am (I work 10 minutes from home and need to be in by 7)
What time do you drop your LO off at daycare? DH drops her off at 7:30am
What time do you pick your LO up? I pick her up at 4:15pm
What time do you get home? If I go straight home, we're home by 4:45pm (our daycare lady likes to gab.

Do you find time to exercise? How do you add that into the mix?

I try to go to the gym after picking her up from daycare at least once a week - but I feel super guilty dropping her off in the Kids Club after being at daycare all day because she's usually wide awake and wanting to play (4 months old). On Tuesdays I go to a 6pm spin class, so DH makes sure he's home in time so I can make it. Fridays I work a half day, so I go before I pick her up from daycare. On non-gym days, I try to take her for a walk or use one of my workout DVDs. And I try to make it to the gym Saturday AND Sunday.

DH and I alternate drop off and pickup.
We usually let LO wake us up, typically around 5:30.
Whoever is not dropping off will typically head to work around 6:30, while the dropper-offer leaves at 7:15 to get LO to daycare around 7:30.
LO gets picked up around 5:30 by the picker-upper, who comes home and starts dinner, and usually the dropper-offer gets home between 6:30 and 7.
We start bedtime around 7:30.

DH and I exercise at work. Depending on whether we're dropping off or picking up, we go in to work early or late so we can fit in exercise time... we both have gyms at our workplaces.

What time do you wake up? around 6:45
What time are you out the door? DH leaves with LO by 7:30
What time do you drop your LO off at daycare? 7:45
What time do you pick your LO up? I pick her up at 5.
What time do you get home? 5:30

DD is asleep between 6:30 - 7. DH comes home after she is asleep usually.

Do you find time to exercise? How do you add that into the mix? I used to WOH and I was too exhausted to exercise after commuting for over 2 hours and running to work, daycare, home. Now that I WAH, I can sneak in some workouts but it's still not as consistent as I want it to be. DH doesn't work out at all. He's too tired after coming home from work.
