I think when the time comes you will get the strength from somewhere! Sometimes you have to dig really deep but unless there is someone you can hand the LO over to ... you just gotta do what you gotta do right?

They all go to bed eventually .....LOL. And there have been times when I have gone to bed immediately after putting my daughter to bed!

And more often than not, your LO will do something so sweet and so adorable that it will give you a burst of energy to power through!

I worry about this too esp on nights like last night when I left work right at 5 on the nose and went straight to the couch and didn't move until I got in bed at 10. I was totally physically exhausted and not for any good reason other than not sleeping well for the past 2 days.

It took every ounce of effort I had just to put my dinner plate in the dishwasher (I bought a prepared meal). I can't even imagine what it would be like to have an energetic toddler running around or a crying baby!

My daughter is 2 now and we have another baby on the way.

There are nights I get home and just have no patience or energy to deal with a cranky toddler. Those nights I cut myself slack and let my husband do the bedtime routine while I just do my own thing.

Thankfully those nights aren't frequent. A lot of times, I get home and it's rejuvenating and mood-lifting to be with my daughter. She helps me forget the crap and at work and just laugh at/with her and enjoy the little time we get together.

It can be tough at times, but we make it work. I'm sure you will to. Hope this helps!

For working mama bees...

The past couple of weeks have been absolutely draining at work. It got so bad to the point where, I went straight to bed the last couple of nights (after feeding the furbabies).... and zoned out for 5 hours.

I know that obviously life changes, you sacrifice, and you adjust to life post-baby... I'm still ready for baby, but I did think last night "wow? and I want to add a baby to this crazy, (unbalanced) work/life schedule?

How do you handle a rough day/week at work with baby?
