It had my husband worried, so I asked the pediatrician at his 15 month appointment... and it started cutting the next day. My pediatrician just said not to worry, they catch up eventually. </p> <p>A friend with a baby the same age got all his molars in about 2 months before mine even started getting his. She's had 7 for *ages* now with no signs of getting any more. I'm not so worried about the fact that she hasn't gotten any new teeth recently as I am about the fact that tooth number 8 is mysteriously missing. She didn't get her first tooth until she was about 10.5 months old. Her second tooth came in just a few days later, and she got her third and fourth teeth right around her first birthday</p> <p>Now she's 14 months old and there are no signs of new teeth. I'm starting to get a little worried. Is it normal for a baby to just stop growing teeth like this?! We have had no new teeth or teething symptoms for two months now... </p>
