BAD HORRIBLE TERRIBLE. The grow-out took forever, and I was scarred for life. I'm not a hair stylist and have no talent in that area, so my hair constantly looked like I'd attacked it with hedge clippers. I wanted the longest layer past my chin. She thought I said 'cheek' and cut it in a bowl-like cut.<br /> I went to another salon and asked to add some layers and some low-lights so that it wouldn't be all one length, all one color. I knew something was wrong when she was mixing a big bowl, saying "oh no, oh no, oh no" under her breath. My hair was turning traffic cone orange and she was mixing a giant bowl of chocolate brown to cover it all!<br /> I went from having long blonde hair to short dark brown hair in a matter of days! What's the worst hair disaster you've had? </p> <p>My hair is very dark brown with a little red. Last year I decided I wanted to get blonde highlights. First appointment, looked pretty. Second appointment, still looking okay, despite having noticable roots nearly instantly. Third appointment. . . Orange hair, nearly allover. Didn't mention it at the salon, wanted to get home and style. Still orange. Called stylist who advised me to try purple shampoo. Didn't work at all. Begged her to fix it, she was too busy and then left town for the week. </p> <p>Ended up dying myself (bad bad move) and ended up with jet black hair with green highlights. </p> <p>Stylist then agreed to fix. Then CHARGED me. </p> <p>This was about a year ago, and my hair is back to normal, thanks to joico and moroccan oil!</p> <p>Your turn - share your hair horror stories! Bad color? Cut? </p>
