I also have about 2 - 3 other, non-parent friends that i am thinking about inviting, but not sure if i should. I can't imagine they would be offended if I didn't invite them. I am more concerned about whether they will feel obligated to attend when they would rather not. One of them is newly pregnant. </p> <p>Would you invite a few non-parent friends to your LO's first birthday party? It is going to be a really small party so it could be seen as adults mingling with a play area for the babies. then we can all ooh and ahh over LO when he eats his cake, but that's really all i have planned. it will be only a couple of hours long. </p>
