After 4 years it went in the garbage after last Christmas. It lost so many of the needles every year and just started to look bare. </p> <p>We bought a new tree from a Christmas Decorators store and spent a lot on. They claimed it would last us for many years. I hope they are right. But I also noticed that the one from HD comes with a 3-year warranty and the one from Lowes doesn't come with a warranty. That was something we considered when purchasing ours. We spent a lot on ours, but it is super realistic looking and came with a 10-year warranty on parts and lights.
