We adopted first, and do not plan on having bio children. I should be able to have them via IUI or IVF but chose adoption instead.

We are planning to adopt and then later foster if we are up for it, but I am also newly pregnant. Age was the determining factor for us to have a biological child first.

I would have biological children first, unless I was super young. Because if you want biological children and aren't super young, fostering could "get in the way" and when you finally start trying it could be harder. You can foster later without biological concerns of getting pregnant. However, there probably isn't a right answer, and it is more about where your heart is leading you. Both are noble endeavors.

My BF and I have plans to foster and have biological children in the near-ish future. We were chatting about what we should do first and we both have different opinions on it. Most people I know have biological children and then decide to foster but there are a few who did foster care first. What is your opinion?

I did come across this blog post about it-
