I have a genetic heart condition that can cause sudden, unexplained heart attacks. They were very afraid something was going to happen when I went into labor.</p> <p>We were lucky this time around. My siblings were a great comfort to me during that time and I think we were all a comfort to him as well. Otherwise I would have the number of children I had planned on having. Life threatening surgery does not necessarily mean life ending and with medical advancements it may not be as serious as it is now.
