J loved making the cupcakes and was so proud he made them for his friends. His friends seemed to like them. All the frosting and about 90% of the cupcakes were eaten. People went back for seconds, so I think they were a hit. I like it because it's allergen free and I can find it easily. Many blends have nuts or coconut and I don't want to have someone accidentally eat it who is allergic. I try to avoid bean flours in baked goods because they have a strange taste.</p> <p>I use a really old container of Hershey's cocoa. People worry about serving things with dietary restrictions because the taste (eg. no sugar no dairy no whatever) would be bad, but if your recipe is good then no one would notice. We love cooking together. I make amazing cupcakes. It would be great except that I have celiac. We keep a strictly gluten free kitchen (and I cook for others with celiac so i can't make an exception). LO can eat wheat, he just doesn't at home. So, would it be weird to serve gluten free cupcakes to everyone? Would it be better to buy normal cupcakes? FWIW, I regularly make gluten free cupcakes for events and people don't realize they're gluten free. </p>
