It wasn't a friend or something that offered to do this. It's a company. </p> <p>Me being passive aggressive, I would causally ask them about their rates and policies. If you get the 30 minute plan, do you get 30 minutes? Also, is there a 15- 20 minute plan? I understand they are busy but shouldn't they say that they would spend time with your dog 30 minutes +/- 5 minutes. If not, wouldn't they offer a plan that doesn't have a time increments? Or say in their policy about what happens if they get done in less than 30 minutes. I'm fine with them leaving after 25 minutes of work but less than that I feel like I'm being ripped off. </p> <p>The other thing is could it be different people coming each day. Maybe they are unaware that their staff is not staying for 30 minutes and that maybe the boss needs to be aware of this.</p> <p>This is coming from someone who spoils my dog and my dogs are my babies, so I expect the best for them. </p> <p>I have never used a pet sitting service, I just board them if I'm out of town, but thanks for bringing this issue up. It would make me really upset to know the person only stayed with my dog for 17 minutes a day (I am assuming this person came once a day, but even if they came twice a day 17-20 minutes at a time doesn't seem like enough time to do all you asked and give your dog some love and attention) . They are suppose to come once a day for 30 mins and do whatever you need them to do:</p> <p>I asked them to feed/water dog<br /> Give dog lots of belly rubs<br /> grab mail<br /> Water veggies on deck!</p> <p>We got an alarm system installed not too far back and so I can see when they arrive and leave.</p> <p>They were never there for 30 mins - it was 17 min, 20 mins, 19 mins, 25 mins, 21 mins, 22 mins</p> <p>Would this bother you or am I being anal?</p> <p>My mail was collected - plants watered and she sent me daily pics of my sweet girl.</p> <p>Last time we used them we didn't have the alarm so I assumed they stayed the whole 30 mins.</p> <p>Also should I mention this to the owner next time I book? Or let it go? I keep wavering on being ticked off and not really caring since my dog was at least checked on! </p>
