As I walked up to the house I could hear my LO (8 months) crying. I walked into the kitchen and she was in her high chair (not strapped in), with puffs on the tray. The water in the sink was on to defrost a bag of breastmilk and our babysitter was not in the room. I took LO out of the chair and about 2 minutes later the babysitter came out of the bathroom. she looked surprised to see me. I get it that we all have to go to the bathroom but it was very concerning that my LO was left alone with food on her tray and not strapped in. Am I over reacting? </p>
