She said the pin nails she included is the best way to hang them. If she had used picture backs they would have shown and wouldn't have hung straight. She said she included that in my message she sent me when they shipped. </p> <p>I completely understand that. That's fine with me. She included nails so they can be hung correctly, but I didn't get a message when they were shipped. Plus when i requested the custom order and included the font and size I wanted and specifically requested picture backs, THAT would have been the time to explain "Well with this font the picture backs aren't the best option for hanging for "such and such" reasons. I offer this instead:"<br /> Not after I had already paid for them and she was shipping them. I told her I was disappointed that that wasn't made clear to me but I still like the letters.</p> <p>So that's that. They ran a little high, but after I researched, I would only be paying about $20 less to do them myself and I didn't want to deal with it. I wanted to pay a little more to have them arrive completely ready. In the description of the order I liked, it said "Comes with picture hanging backs or ribbons for hanging attached at no extra charge."</p> <p>So I sent her a message to request a custom order and in it I included "please attach picture hanging backs. I don't need the ribbons."</p> <p>Well today I got the letters in, and while they are extremely cute and good quality, there are no hanging backs on them. She included a package of small nails, but no backs. I don't plan on nailing the entire letter to the wall. I checked the description in my custom order, and it says "painted white with pin backs." I'm not sure of the difference between picture hanging backs and pin backs but my letters have NOTHING on the back.</p> <p>I've messaged her about this but haven't heard back yet. Am I right in being disappointed? Did I read something wrong? Be honest.<br /> Now I have to attach backs and if I had known that I would have done it myself a month ago and saved the money.</p> <p>Oh and if anyone has suggestions on how to hang these quickly and simply I would appreciate it.</p> <p>ETA: Almost 90% of her reviews are completely positive. I've only found one with the same issues as mine. That's why I'm wondering if I expected something incorrectly and just read the description wrong. </p>
