I learned this from a friend's experience actually. One of her friends made the announcement on FB when she had her baby, without permission, and we were all horrified. Even my mom called me and said that was rude! So when I told my friends I was pregnant , I asked to keep it off FB before I announced. We had a scheduled c section and everyone took pics and posted them before I was even out of recovery. But I had also posted that morning to ask for prayers since I was really nervous about the surgery, so it wasn't like people didn't know he was on the way. I wasn't even remotely concerned about Facebook for a good week at that point. When i finally did check in I found a lovely picture of myself looking scared shitless in a hospital gown and hair net while waiting to go back, though. Thank you dear husband. </p>
