Of all the major physical milestones, that would be one I would be least worried about.

@coacheswife123: thanks! :) I hvent thought much of it, but my mil made a comment about it today :P it's funny how my kids are so different. Just goes to show that all babies really are diff and hit milestones when they're ready.
@TurtleDoves: omg he's already 9 months old?! Yeah, m was a late sitter, crawler and walked later than I expected too. I was so crazy about keeping track of milestones with her! -.-

My niece can't roll over, and she is 10 months old. She has been able to sit early on. I only worry about it because her parents want to do everything for her. She doesn't have the motivation to learn how to roll over, crawl, or reach over for a toy. Her parents are always there to assist.

I wouldn't. That boy has a lot of meat on his bones. It's hard to roll over when you're carrying all those extra lbs!

@chopsuey119: I wouldn't be...because mine didn't.

He hit all his milestones on the late end. If it says they roll over between 3-6 months, he did it at 6.5m
He is 9m this week, and he can sit up (but I have to set it up for him), roll over one way, easily. The other way with difficulty. He can't crawl. He can kinda scoot. he can stand if we stand him up and hold his hands, but no steps taken.
I just stopped worrying about it because his ped said to stop. And he has come around, albeit on the late end!
He is excelled in "language" and other motor skills such as pincer grasp.

Sounds like he hit the sitting milestone way early! I can't remember who but someone said on a thread that for each stage a child will have his own milestone and they don't have to really come in a certain order ! I bet he will soon. His chubs are so so cute !

Ha! My DS can't flip over!
He's been sitting up since he was 4 months old though..

I'm not concerned, but hoping he learns soon.
He's a chunky monkey so I'm blaming the chubbs!
