Also, I think there are some people who just want a beautiful wedding and want it done with little input. But it does seem somewhat crazy! It's a really beautiful venue and hotel and we actually looked into it when we were planning our wedding but ruled it out based on our budget. TBH, from what I remember, $35k is around how much it was going to cost so I don't think there are any/much savings from the retail price unless you get the 25% off Gilt City purchase (and it doesn't have a cap!)</p> <p>Would you buy a wedding package off a flash sale site like that (if you weren't already married!)? Or to rephrase - would you have bought one? I would imagine someone being able to afford a $35k reception would want to check out the venue first!!! </p>
