The box was torn and dirty but the contents were new (plastic wrap and everything). This has luckily been the case with all Amazon open box products so far. I buy them all the time, and I have never had any issues. The diapers are always packaged but sometimes not in the original box. Plus you can return them if you run into a problem. I usually buy them when I'm out of diapers and can't wait for my next S&amp;S shipment to come.
