I have some passed down from my grandmother that are about .75 ct each. That for a baby? No way. But baby earrings are typically tiny - more like .05 ct. They aren't a giant, grand gift to be treasured and worn for the rest of their life. </p> <p>I was gifted a lot of fine jewelry when I was little (made of gold, gemstones, etc.). I think it's pretty common in Jewish families? Or maybe it was just my grandma, idk lol. I still have some of it, including a tiny gold ring with a heart and a (very small) diamond in the middle.
