I didn't think maternity photos were that important to me until my 36th week and I realized I was gonna miss my belly bump. So, I had hubby take photos of me and my bump with our SLR camera and they turned out great. Now Im so glad I have those photos to remember such a special time in my life. I wouldn't have wanted to spend too much money on them though since I was already hiring a photographer for newborn photos, and thats more important to me. I emailed our wedding photog (she does family, maternity, newborn photos, too) to get a price quote from her. Ours was one of the first weddings she photographed (she was a newbie when we used her so we got an amazing deal) and she did a great job on our wedding photos. Since then, her business has grown significantly (as have her prices). But she said that because we are return customers, she'd do maternity photos for $150 (includes an hour long session and CD with all images). That seems like a pretty reasonable price to me. Would you have maternity photos taken for that price? Do you think it's worth it? </p>
