I've used a onesie maybe one more recently and it was because it was a polo shirt onesie. I just wanted his shirt to stay tucked in for his outfit. :) We just use little Hanes undershirts and tanks on him and have for some time.

I stopped at around 14 months, maybe 12. Too much hassle when they're so mobile.

DS wears one every day under his clothes. I feel like it's warmer for him and when we pick him up his tummy isn't exposed to the cold outside. We will likely stop the onesies late spring since it will be warm and he might be experimenting with the potty. He was 2 in February.

If you aren't potty training, it keeps them from accessing and taking off their diapers and painting things. We are potty trained so onsies don't work for us. He is 23 months old now.

We stopped using them around a year or so. (Maybe eighteen months? I can't remember precisely.). Once Owen was walking more, I was ok with just using a t-shirt as an undershirt. Onesies were really handy to keep his belly covered while he was still being carried a lot.

Well LO is 12 mos and still in onesies... I'm not sure when I'll stop! I like it cause it adds extra layering and his skin isn't exposed when I pick him up.

My LO (at 23 months) can still wear size 24 month pants, but he got too big for 24 month sized onesies when he was about 15 months, and started wearing that size when he was probably only a year or so old (apparently he has the world's longest torso), so just because it says 24 months doesn't mean you'll necessarily be putting a two year old into it.

My LO is 15 months and I plan to keep him in onsies until they no longer fit. He is currently in 18 to 24 month size. Normal shirts ride up, exposing his big belly.

My LO isn't hear yet, I think it would be nice to keep things tucked in, especially if you are layering. I think my sister still has me 2 yo nephew in some though she is phasing them out (as evidenced by the frequently untucked or half tucked tops :)

My niece is almost exactly 2 years older than my LO, and SIL very kindly loaned us tons of 12-24m play clothes. It's kind of crazy how many onesies are in this box. I hate wrangling LO into onesies now, and I'm for sure not going to try to put one on her when she's 2. Am I just unaware of some onesie rules?
