I talked to the friend some more about it, and she said she doesn't want to support a business that didn't follow health regulations when there are hundreds of other restaurants that do. I guess it's just something she feels strongly about, so we are going someplace else. But like all of you, I don't have a problem with it since it was so long ago. It's also very trendy and in a fun part of town. One friend looked up the restaurant online and saw it had been in the news a couple years ago because of a reported norovirus outbreak. They closed the restaurant for a couple days to disinfect everything before reopening and haven't had problems since. I actually knew about the outbreak, but I didn't think it was a big deal since it happened so long ago, but my friend said she isn't comfortable eating there, so we're going someplace else. I'm curious what others would do. The restaurant is always packed, so either people don't care or they don't know about the outbreak. </p>
