I understand what they were trying to do - but as a kid I didn't understand/care and it wasn't fair I had to watch everyone else open them.</p> <p>If it's a 1-2 year old kid- no big deal, but an older child? Her point was to show them it's not about gifts, which is great! However, is feel really bad, considering gifts come from Santa, in our family. I think I would think of a different way to teach the lesson, rather than just giving them a box. </p>
