I have a crappy little Mazda 3 that is terrible in the snow. When i used to live in Toronto, 30-45 minute drive was the norm, so 1 hour is not really a big deal. If it's a dear friend i would go regardless of the weather. Then again, I'm still debating whether to go to a friend's shower that's an hour away and snow isn't part of the equation.
