I especially love and appreciate the no smoking laws now. Two caveats though, based on past New Year's Eve experiences:</p> <p>1) What is the bathroom situation like there? If there's only one small bathroom, you may find yourself standing in line a whole lot (with all that drinking, most people have to go several times on NYE). Unless there's an employee bathroom that you can get access to? In any case, just something to think about...</p> <p>2) You may want to get there early... a lot of places can get insanely crowded on NYE, and the pushing and bumping can get crazy. I had a good time on the dance floor, and it was fun to laugh at how silly people are when they're a little drunk. (Or in the case of my friends, a lot, lol!) My husband really wants us to go to our favorite dive bar - where he would enjoy a beer or two and I would enjoy a burger or two... just kidding, only one!</p> <p>One of the bartenders at the bar recently had a baby and she worked while pregnant at the bar up until a month or so before she gave birth. The people that go to this bar are usually locals.</p> <p>I feel a little embarrassed to go, even though I wont be drinking ... but it is new years eve and I also do not want to be stuck at home.</p> <p>In all honesty, have you been out to a bar or would you? </p>
