Though I totally am the traveling with kids type... it's definitely not as fun as my pre-kids days, but we make it work! My eldest has flown on 16 flights at the age of 4 and my little one, 5 times at the age of 1... It's not my favorite thing being on a plane with them, but if you plan well and have low expectations, it's not so bad most of the time :)</p> <p>Paris is a major city with good public transit, so I'd go for it! I'm a city girl though, so that totally sways my vote. If you had said camping or going out in the country or something... with two kids, I'd say no! If you're going in the Spring/Summer/Fall there are tons of nice outdoorsy areas to play and have picnics. You should be fine at all the major tourist sites with kids in tow. You're a proponent of babywearing, so a 9 month old in a carrier and a 2.5 year old walking with an umbrella stroller as back up. If you buy two seats on the plane for the kids, it shouldn't be too bad at all.
