We planned a joint bday with one of her best friends and to be honest the other mom did most of the work(we planned it that way) so it was totally feasible and nice. I bought all the decorations before and she set it up. We will definitely have a party, but I've decided to keep it really small, just a cake, ice cream, and family kind of thing. At 3 years old there will be a number of parents that will drop and run. So you will be in charge of those kids without their parents. And a big open space, just scares me.
