In the beginning (6-9 weeks old) mil hired me a nanny because I just needed a break and was suffering from horrible anxiety. It may not be the case for everyone. We have a lot of family near by but we also have a cleaning lady once a month (and might bump it up to twice a month). We have a dog walker that comes everyday. And we hire a landscape company to cut our grass and take care of our flower beds.
