I dated a foreign exchange student after I graduated. He was so dreamy! I was going to move to Spain to be with him but chickened out like the week before. And no I would not have an exchange student just to date them lol. It was a neat experience, but the language barrier and culture shock can be difficult to manage sometimes. The boy in particular was from France and became very close to my dad - with 4 daughters, he was the son he never had!</p> <p>However, one was an absolute dud. She was rude, disinterested, and quite mean to the family. We took her to Disney World and she never cracked a smile.
