I take the trash out down the street when he goes down for his nap. Sometimes he is awake by the time I get back (it takes about 2 minutes and 20 seconds--he is a very quick napper) and I always feel guilty but I just can't carry the baby and the trash out at the same time! I have tried though.</p> <p>I try to get DH to take out the trash but sometimes the pile just gets embarrassing and I have to do it. He didn't want to miss his train. I was so angry I couldn't see straight, and when I found him on the road I opened the window and threw his wallet at him and sped back home. He was like, "Well, how long can you leave a baby alone in its crib to go outside and run errands? Like, 15 or 20 minutes?" It has since become a running joke w/ my friends and family.
