I'm sure they can help solve the issue w/o bringing any names into the mix. Microwaving breast milk can burn it and basically ruin all the great nutritional value it has. I had production issues so I feel your pain. I would even offer to bring in a milk warmer as well and put your LO's name on it in big letters. Sorry you have to go through this. I've gone to the director twice about two different issues and I dont feel like the teachers treat my daughter any differently. Personally I agree with Mr bee that complaining to the director can have a negative effect on how they treat my baby. And since i am not there all the time I rather resolve the issue with the staff directly. I also feel that if I am very unhappy with the service I would rather just pullher out and stay home rather than switch her to another daycare. I think switching daycares will be upsetting for her and then I would be starting all over with trusting them. We had these same types of issues with our FORMER daycare. Things would improve for a short period but I never felt like I was fully satisified. </p> <p>We are paying even more now, but I'm so much happier with the service we are receiving.</p> <p>Also, I find it odd that they have a microwave in the room. Our former daycare used hot water in a large cup to warm bottles. Our current daycare has two bottle warmers (one for formula and another for breastmilk). Maybe they really did think they were doing you a favor. If not I'd try talking to them just once more. If you made it crystal clear you didn't want their wipes, I'd bring it up with their boss. They should want to work with you for what's best for your LO, and the bumps are no good!</p> <p>Eta: sorry I forgot to say about the bottles... I have no idea what I'd do about that. It is concerning that they make requests like "bring wipes and a dispenser" then make you take home the dispenser, and then say they aren't using your wipes because you didn't provide a dispenser. There's like a total mis communication going on. Maybe the teachers need to call get on the same page a little better. </p> <p>And if they are microwaving your breastmilk and ruining it, that would be a big cause for concern also! I'd definitely thing messing up my child's nutrition intake would warrant a discussion as well. </p>
