Her grandmother's name was Missouri, which is kind of weird. Other than Virginia and Georgia, and maybe Montana or Indiana, I can't really get into states as names. I think I would prefer city names to state names, generally. I love the name Austin, and up until about 2 years ago, I was certain I would be naming my first daughter Sydney, after Sydney, Australia.
