He's the youngest kid, you are relying on herd immunity at this point. All daycares here start at 6 weeks, first shots at 2 months. Perhaps a postpartum doula would either want the extra work or might know someone who would be able to fill in for a few weeks for you. She got her shots a few days after starting. We had no issues, but if you are concerned could you take an extra couple weeks unpaid like others have suggested? I know here babies are allowed to receive their first immunisations at six weeks, you can go as late as eight weeks, but from six weeks on is fine. I remember how much ds for sick those first few months and he didn't go until 8 weeks. I'm agonizing over it! Any ideas? </p>
