I'd rather have a bad eater. They won't starve to death and sleep is good for my sanity.

Good sleeper for sure. Right now, baby is not liking his food and it is definitely frustrating. But lack of sleep due to teething is much much worse.

I don't know, I have a friend who's kid wasn't eating enough and had to go to eating therapy. She was having failure to thrive because she wasn't getting enough nutrition.

Bad eater no doubt, even though it can be incredibly frustrating at meal times. However, you can always recharge if they sleep all night and then find the energy to deal with the eating again in the morning.

I dunno, now that I've got the timing down, I like having a good eater even if he is a bit tough in the sleeping department!

Easy..... bad eater for sure!

Just like you said. Atleast if you can get sleep you can deal with the trouble a eating time and he's not going to starve.

If you're exhausted then you can't deal with the normal fits/tiredness of kiddos. Now THAT'S frustrating. lol

I would rather have a good sleeper! I need my sleep too :) And if they weren't a good eater, they would be better off having a mom that got plenty of sleep the night before!

Really tough choice! I am lucky with my LO - good eater and sleeper. He came out that way and has remained so, despite my efforts/ineptitude (sp?!).

I would agree with mrs bee for the reasons mentioned. I must say though that even though LO eats well it is SO MESSY! Omg, no one told me about that! Tell me it gets better - LO is 7 mo now.

I have a bad sleeper but I'd rather have a bad eater. You're right in that they won't starve to death. The sleeping thing is driving me nuts!

Wow tough choice. I think I would also prefer a bad eater over a bad sleeper, for the same reasons you mentioned

Charlie is a terrible eater, and almost every meal is the bane of my existence. But he is an excellent sleeper and lately he's been sleeping 13+ hours at night plus taking a 2 hour+ nap.

Maybe it's selfish, but I'd rather have a good sleeper. Charlie is not going to allow himself to starve, and if he were a bad sleeper, I would be a tired mom which would make me a much worse, much more impatient mom.

Do you have a bad sleeper or a bad eater? Which do you think is harder?
